UK’s homes are poorly insulated – 17 August 2011

The Government has revealed that almost half the UK’s homes are not properly insulated. Latest estimates from the Department of Energy and Climate Change showed that just 57 percent of the UK’s lofts have been properly insulated and only 58 percent of cavity walls have been filled with insulation. Officials said householders were wasting at least £100 a year on bills as a result. Could you be one of them?

Before the weather turns cooler, make sure your insulation is sufficient to keep you warm and cosy this winter. If you’d prefer an expert to give it the once over instead, give us a call on 020 8449 9697.
